Founder of Cupertino's Cleaning Services, based in Acton, Massachusetts. She has run the company for more than five years, and she is the person who visits the space and prices the work.
She writes the guides on this site for the same reason she does the estimates in person: the useful answer depends on the actual space, and most of what is published about cleaning is written by people who have never had to quote one.

Estimates at Cupertino's are free and carried out in person, which means Karolayne sees the space before any number is discussed. That is where most of the material on this site comes from: the questions clients ask at the door, the rooms that turn out to be the real problem, and the gap between what a space looks like and what it takes to hold it.
She founded the company to do commercial and residential cleaning the way she thought it should be done: a written scope agreed before the first visit, the same team returning, and a direct line when something needs to change. That is still how it runs.
How These Guides Are Written
Four rules. They exist because cleaning advice online is mostly padding around a number somebody made up.

The answer comes first
Every guide opens with the direct answer in its own block, before any explanation. If that is all you needed, you can stop reading there. -
No invented numbers
Where we do not have a figure, the guide says so. A made-up price range or a borrowed industry statistic would read as authority and function as a guess. -
Written from the work, not from a search
The examples come from spaces we clean: offices in and around Acton, unit turnovers, renovation handoffs, and homes on recurring plans. -
Corrected in public
When something changes or turns out to be wrong, the article is updated and the date on it moves. Nothing is quietly deleted.
